Description

 The kingdom has no ruler and his castle Kandar is left. But this castle has a secret and that you now want to explore. Rumor has it that the one who finds it gets too much power.

 While you explore the castle, you have to avoid dangers and enemies such as birds or rats. About half of all places can be visited relatively easy, but the other half is behind closed doors or behind seemingly impassable villains. To get through a door, two objects must be used the right key and another object. The right item can sometimes soothe the bad guys. You can carry any two objects simultaneously. 25 different items are available that can be found in various places, mostly behind closed doors. You can pick up an object and drop by another pass over an object on the ground. A status indicator may at any time by pressing the "S" button or move the joystick to be called before. Here you can see how many places you have visited (there are 104 places) as the score looks like and how many lives are still available. At the beginning of life, there are 3 available when a life is lost, return to the starting position but retained all the items and open doors.

 The castle is divided into seven floor levels, ranging from the underground passages to the tops of the towers and includes features such as mazes and passageways.

 The principle is this: You start in front of the castle in the garden (1 screen, from which there is only one output, namely the portal to the castle) with 3 lives. Play a major role several keys that can open doors. So there are key as the "Brass Key", the "Large Key" or "Dagger" (actually it's indeed a dagger). Unfortunately, there is quite a fumble until you have found time a door that can be opened.

The Monster

 a bird that actually is on the loose in every screen (albeit very Gently pace so that you can easily miss it)
 a rat (runs down along the ground and can easily skip)
 and several "static Monster" (Dragon, Dog, Rooster). Why is "static"? Well, they remain at the same place. They are animated, but remain as a key-guard in place and are and I've never quite understood-quite difficult to overcome. A jump is not enough to come across it. But there is a little trick: Up to half can pass below them. Then a jump is called for, but this sounds easier than it is in practice. I have, for example, never managed to get past the rooster on the roof.

 Be careful when entering new rooms! Now and then there are green or red monsters (big head, which immediately moved to a), the blow a fast and deprive of life.

Operation

P = Pause on / off
M = Music on / off
← or S = status

2 = right
CTRL = left
SPACE = jump

  /   = Go right / left
  = Go through doors
  = Call status display
  = Jump

 You can always take only two objects at the same time, as soon as you receive a farther allowed to lie for another.

 From the manual of the game is not clear what the "Secret" is at all, so it can be revealed here: There is a secret room, which can be found after the fourth talisman opens and contains a crown.
 It has quickly internalized the construction of the castle, but then one is really looking to death when wearing key and attempts by "trial and error" to open the doors. Imagine times before, or shortly after counting how many possibilities arise if one has 23 items and 3 keys are still locked doors to be applied to 47!
